ራዕይ ዜሮ ኮሚቴ

ኤንሲ 4B በኦክቶበር 26 ቀን 2020 የእይታ ዜሮ ኮሚቴን አቋቋመ ፣ በጃንዋሪ 24 ቀን 2022 ስብሰባው ላይ ኮሚቴውን እንደገና ፈቀደ ። የቪዥን ኮሚቴን ያቋቋመው ውሳኔ ከዚህ የሚከተሉትን ለማካተት የኮሚቴውን ሥልጣን ያስቀምጣል፡– (1) በኮሚሽኑ አካባቢ በቪዥን ዜሮ ግቦች መሠረት የማኅበረሰቡን ደህንነት ለመጨመር የሚያስችሉ ስትራቴጂዎች ከግምት ማስገባት እና ምክረ ሃሳብ ማቅረብ፤ (2) እግባብነት ያላቸውን የቀረቡ ዕቅዶች እና ፕሮጀክቶች እንዲሁም ከእነዚህ ግቦች ጋር በተጣጣመ መልኩ በማኅበረሰቡ ደህንነት ላይ ተጽዕኖ ያላቸውን የሕግ እና የኤጀንሲ ውሳኔዎች መተንተን እና ግብረ መልስ መስጠት፤ (3) የቪዥን ዚሮ ግቦችን ለማሳካት ኮሚሽኑ በሚያደርገው ጥረት ላይ ከተጋላጭ የመንገድ ተጠቃሚዎች ወካይ የአካባቢ ቡድኖች ጋር በጋራ መሥራት ።

ቪዥን ዜሮ ኮሚቴ በተለምዶ በወር ሦስተኛው ረቡዕ ከቀኑ 7 ፡ 00 p.m. በቨርቹዋል ዘዴ ይገናኛሉ የስብሰባ ቀናትን ማረጋገጥ ፣ የስብሰባ መግቢያ መረጃ ማግኘት እና የኮሚቴውን አጀንዳዎች እዚህ ማየት ይችላሉ። እንዲሁም በአማካሪ የጎረቤት ኮሚሽን 4B ዓመታዊ ሪፖርቶችውስጥ ስለ ኮሚቴው ሥራ የበለጠ ማንበብ ይችላሉ ።

ኮሚሽነር ኢቫን ያትስ (4B04) እና ኮሚሽነር አሊሰን ብሩክስ (4B08) የኮሚቴው ተባባሪ ሊቀመንበር ሆነው ያገለግላሉ ።

  • Dani Baronofsky lives in Takoma and works as an attorney at the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Dani previously lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he was appointed to serve on the city’s Bicycle Committee for a two year term. In that role, he helped the city develop safer bicycling infrastructure and bicycle friendly zoning policies. In addition, he previously worked as an emergency medical technician in the Greater Boston area and personally had to deal with some of the negative consequences of our nation’s unsafe transportation infrastructure.

  • Tony Giancola has a BSCE from Syracuse University and MS degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation and Environmental Systems) and a Master of Public Works Engineering and Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. After a twenty-year active duty career in the Civil Engineer Corps, U.S. Navy, he served as a District of Columbia appointed representative on the Citizens Advisory Committee, Transportation Planning Board, Washington Council of Governments (2018 -2020). He currently serves as a Mayoral appointee on the DC Water Board.
  • Charon P.W. Hines is the Senior Advisor to the Chancellor of the District of Columbia Public Schools. Previously, she served as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs. A third generation Washingtonian, Charon and family have resided in Ward 4, Riggs Park for the past 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mary Baldwin College, Master of Arts in Teaching from Bowie State University, and Master of Science in Educational Administration from Trinity University. Charon is a community leader, engagement ambassador, and strategist. She is a three term Past President of Lamond-Riggs Citizens Association, Inc. In addition, she holds membership on several boards and community organizations throughout the metropolitan area. Charon has an unwavering commitment to residents, children and families, with a laser focus on maintaining the home-school-community partnership.
