The Committee will be visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G Street, NW) with our youth members to view local exhibits on DC history and politics. Please contact the Committee Co-Chairs if you are interested in joining.

    –We Who Believe in Freedom: Black Feminist DC

    –Capital Connections

    –Up From the People: The East Gallery, DC Represented, covers local politics and history through displays on Mayor Marion Barry, DC home rule, and the cultural impact of go-go and punk music

    3. Administrative Items:

    -Schedule & Invited Guests for September Meeting

    –Ideas & Areas of Interest for October Meeting

    -ANC 4B Events: DC State Fair (September 7); Voter Registration Drive with Coolidge (September 17); ANC 4B Meeting (September 23)
