An Advisory Neighborhood Commission, or ANC, is a non-partisan, neighborhood body made up of locally elected representatives called Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners. ANC 4B extends from Georgia Avenue to the West; Eastern Avenue to the East; and Longfellow Street, Shepherd Road, Missouri Avenue, Riggs Road, South Dakota Avenue, and Kennedy Street to the South. Due to the public health emergency, the Commission is not currently meeting in person. Please check the noticed agenda to confirm the date, time, and details regarding virtual public ANC meetings. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your individual Commissioners regarding any Advisory Neighborhood Commission issues during this time.

Planning Meeting

Every second Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Regular Public Meeting

Every fourth Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Regular meetings are held in the community room at the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District Headquarters, 6001 Georgia Avenue. Due to the public health emergency, the Commission is not currently meeting in person. Please check the noticed agenda to confirm the date, time, and details regarding virtual public ANC meetings.

The commission recesses in July, August, and December.
